International Mass

We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We are the Indonesian Catholic Community in Haarlem and surroundings (KKI Haarlem). Our mission is to connect Indonesian Catholics in the region with each other, so that - wherever we are - we always feel at home and remain united as one family in Christ within the Roman Catholic Church. In addition to pilgrimages, catechesis and retreat days, we also organize the monthly Holy Mass in the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Bavo in Haarlem as one of our regular activities.

During our ROKAMI meeting day in Almere last year, we spoke about the theme "On the way to an intercultural Church". That is why we find it important to create a connection with other Catholic migrant communities and parishioners within the Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam. In this way, we can work together in the future and make a valuable contribution to the territorial parishes as an intercultural Church.

In this context we want to organize an international mass with the theme “We are united in God's love” based on the Gospel reading Luke 10:25-37

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in English. Texts will also be translated into Dutch in the missal
