The Hart voor Bavo website is managed by the organization behind the Hart voor Bavo event. We consider it important to handle personal data with care. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we collect, why we do so, and how we protect it.

When you buy tickets via our website or register to participate, we may collect the following data:

Online payments are processed via an external and secure payment provider. This party processes the payment data in accordance with applicable security standards. Hart voor Bavo does not receive full payment card details.

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

In general, the following applies:

administrative data for a maximum of 7 years (fiscal retention obligation)

registration data: up to a maximum of 1 year after the event , unless required longer for administration

Subsequently, the data is deleted or anonymized.

Volunteer data is in principle retained for a maximum of 1 year after the event, unless a volunteer remains involved in future editions of the event.

6. Photos and visual material

Photos and video recordings may be taken during the event. These may be used for:

  • publication on the Hart voor Bavo website

  • social media

  • promotional materials for the event

  • reporting of the event

We always try to handle image material with care. Do you prefer not to be recognizable in an image, or would you like a photo removed? Please contact us at hartvoorbavo@xs4all.nl , and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
